The Agent Engineering Conference is committed to being a welcoming, inclusive space for practitioners of all backgrounds. We believe that a diverse community of engineers, researchers, and builders creates better conversations and better outcomes for everyone. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior and the consequences for unacceptable conduct.
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone taking part: attendees, speakers, hosts, partners, volunteers and organisers alike. Nobody is exempt on the basis of role, employer or contribution to the event.
It applies at the venue, at any social gathering connected to the conference, and in the online channels and community spaces we run. It applies before, during and after the event, which means a report about something that happened on the day is still valid once everyone has gone home.
Treat everyone with respect. Participate while acknowledging that everyone deserves to be here and has valuable perspectives to share.
Seek diverse perspectives. Diversity of views and people powers innovation. Encourage all voices and listen actively.
Remember that this is a professional event. Conduct yourself professionally and be mindful of your words and actions.

Entry is by the name on the registration, so please bring the name you registered with. There are no walk-ins, and a ticket cannot be passed to someone else without our approval in advance. The event terms set out how a transfer works.
If you can no longer come, tell us as early as you can. Seats are limited and an early cancellation lets us offer your place to someone else. Repeated no-shows may mean future registrations are declined.
Everyman Canary Wharf is a working venue with its own team. Please follow their procedures and any instruction from venue or event staff, and stay within the areas set aside for the conference.
Rude or aggressive behaviour towards reception, security or facilities staff is treated exactly as it would be towards another attendee. It results in immediate removal from the event and exclusion from future ones.
The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable:
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including sponsors and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the conference organizers as soon as possible.

You do not have to report on the day. A report made after the event is reviewed whenever it reaches us, and a delay does not count against it.

We keep reports confidential, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
By registering for or attending AgentEng London you accept this Code of Conduct in full, along with the event terms. Organisers may issue a warning, refuse entry or require immediate departure. Serious breaches result in exclusion from future events, and threatening or unlawful behaviour is referred to security and the police as appropriate.
