This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior and the consequences for unacceptable conduct.
Treat everyone with respect. Participate while acknowledging that everyone deserves to be here and has valuable perspectives to share.
Seek diverse perspectives. Diversity of views and people powers innovation. Encourage all voices and listen actively.
Remember that this is a professional event. Conduct yourself professionally and be mindful of your words and actions.
Participate authentically and actively, contributing to the community
Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions
Attempt collaboration before conflict
Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior
Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants
Alert conference organizers if you notice violations or someone in distress
The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable:
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including sponsors and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the conference organizers as soon as possible.
